Well, I have been a little lax on starting this blog. Midori is turning 14 weeks today. She was 17.5" on Sunday and 32# yesterday, a big girl. I have a feeling she will be about Yoshi sized, and trump Starr in height and weight. Her bone is huge and her head is fantastic.
Midori flew here from Jessica Strauss at Strauss Haus Shepherds in Washington and she is 1 year and 1 day younger than Starr and is from Dallas and Aslan breeding. She is fitting in well in her new home and is full of vim and vigor and loves life. I am eager to see what color her coat will be, because she is so much darker than Starr and a bit more brown.
Midori started her first puppy class last week and Thursday will be her 2nd class. She learned sit at 8 weeks, learning down, stand and bi-heel and listen during distractions. This puppy class is not like any i've been in before. It is 3/4 off leash and 1/4 on leash. Its a bit chaotic, but it teaches the puppies a lot. Midori has also been in a dog show (done very well for 8 weeks), goes to the outdoor mall for socialization, has been in Tractor supply for socialization to different objects, shes been in pet stores and playing in the fields.
I will try and keep you updated on her progress, but I'm afraid its been about a year since I've updated either of the other dog blogs
